BITZY - PAST THE POINT OF RESCUE is an autobiography / confession / punk rock / word of warning.!

Its stories collated from a "colourful life" to say the least

But here's what the author has to say:
After many years of being in the wilderness I finally got around to documenting the parts of my life I can remember...It ain’t been easy...I had to contact people for verification of dates and incidents I was allegedly involved in...
It's a cautionary tale of addiction, Jail, and punk rock...its also a snapshot of Ireland in the 1960s and 1970s...

And here's the FOREWARD!
Each one of us is born into our world, in our country, in our city, on our street, and in our house with our family. Where do we go from there? Some go nowhere from there; others remove themselves as far away as possible, even if it is only in their mind, to protect sanity. I don’t know Bitzy, but yet I do know him. He led the life I might have had if my family hadn't moved from Dublin to London when I was four. The book you are about to read gave me a great insight into the world in the city of my birth, which I either missed or, depending on your point of view, was lucky enough to avoid. I don’t know Bitzy, but I trust him. I don’t know Bitzy, but I love him. He stands tall, proud, creative, energised, unafraid, thoughtful, caring and incredibly talented. All of which were fed by HIS story, NOT mine, NOT yours, but HIS.
