Formed in Reading inn 1977, Zounds became one of the biggest names in anarcho punk, releasing one of the first few singles on the Crass label. Signing with Rough Trade in 1981 they released a series of iconic singles and the epic album The Curse of Zounds. The bands last release, from this period, was an EP for a Belgian label called la Vache Qui Rite.

For the first time…EVER… these five 7” singles have been remastered from the original digital transfers of the ¼” tapes, artwork recreated from original copies and pressed on coloured vinyl,
